Celebrating 25 years in business, it offers a mesmerising array of products, many ideal for the new homes being built. Owners Julie and Steve Round are grateful for the support of their loyal customers. “Hopefully we have made it easier to ‘buy local’ Julie says. A customer once said that visiting the A6 shop was like wandering round the house of a friend with very good taste and wanting everything they’ve got –”that’s one of the nicest compliments we’ve ever had.”
Amongst the dining tables and sideboards there is always a great selection of unique occasional furniture, many pieces made from recycled aluminium or reclaimed wood with narrow consoles for hallways and the beautifully made harlequin chairs amongst their best selling items. Whilst chrome remains popular, the fashion is moving more towards darker wood paired with gold and there are a wide range of accessories to compliment most tastes. Gift ideas include beautifully packaged jewellery, scarves, vouchers and lots of inspiration for hard-to-buy-for gents.
Spot something you fancy and the price will not deter you. “People return again and again,” says Julie. “We hope they’re pleasantly surprised at our prices and our ever-changing displays.”
