Feedback

This joiner has been in the Penwortham and Longton Home Handbook since it started in 2012. Here he tells why he advertises:

Advertising is the lifeblood of any successful business and without the Home Handbook I would have taken a lot longer to establish myself.
I get a lot of repeat business due to this fabulous booklet. Danny is very sensitive as to who advertises and vets everyone beforehand. Customers seem to use the handbook and keep it as their go-to directory.
If I can’t do a particular job, I always recommend other people in the book.

Listings

Each  business promotes its service to the home with an editorial listing, which is a highly personalised way to tell other people about you, your experience and your service – complete with a photo.

A listing aims to introduce a service provider before the person crosses a householder’s doorstep.

Listings come in three forms:

  • A quarter page listing with a picture
  • A half page listing with more editorial and a bigger picture
  • A full page bespoke listing which can carry editorial, up to three pictures, a list of services and a testimonial

Listings are done by experienced journalists who can portray your business in a lively and concise manner.

All listings and photographs have the option of being transferred to the www.homehandbooks.co.uk website.

Home Handbook also carries a more limited number of full-page and half-page display adverts for businesses which do not visit the home. Surrounded by editorial, these adverts stand out, giving extra value to the advertiser.

They can be designed by our experienced graphic designers if clients do not have pre-designed adverts.

All adverts and listings are in a handbook designed to last for a year because of the usefulness of information in it.

Home Handbooks, in print and on the web, charge reasonable prices, appropriate to small businesses.
