Preston residents probably don’t know it … but they’ve already been moved once by the Army Ants Removals and Storage team!
A recent project for owner Anthony Walmsley was moving all the archives of the Lancashire Record Office from storage on Preston Docks to its office on Bow Lane in the city centre.
Dad-of-three Anthony, who offers domestic and commercial removal with full storage, explained that clients include the NHS, Lancashire County Council, UCLAN, and Places for People.
Anthony, 44, said “We are proud to be part of a trade association, the AIM, where we won Movers of the Year 2024. We also have insurance cover for every item in your house.”
Army Ants Removals are a small, family-run business with excellent credentials and an impressive portfolio of completed projects.
They also featured on Storage Hunters UK on Dave TV.
Eight staff and five vehicles remove households and businesses, including packing if requested, with storage facilities for any length of time and a cleaning service for vacated/new properties. They provide a local and national removal service, including specialist packing materials and utilise specialist covers for most items. Please note – the team are not a man with a van service.
