You’ve every reason to trust appliance repairer Nick Cowell at Arrow Electrics. He’s been doing it for more than 30 years, with the family-run company starting up in 1990. 10 years ago they expanded to incorporate clients from well- known Garstang repairer Mark Passmore. They do not have a call-out fee and offer a 12-month warranty on all repairs.
“We’ve learned that the main thing is to be courteous and to make the customer feel comfortable and at ease with us,” says Nick. “We will diagnose the fault, work out the price of repair and leave the decision entirely up to the customer. If they don’t want it repaired, there is no charge.”
They repair electrical appliances including washing machines, tumble driers, dishwashers, ovens, cookers, ranges, hobs and extractor fans, but do not do refrigeration or gas. Nick said they aim to respond the same day or next day and work out an hour’s time slot that is best for the customer.
He relishes a challenge. “We see different people every day and it’s great to get a new fault occasionally to put in the memory bank!”
Clients include local estate agents and landlords.
