Covid was kind to Broadway Pantry as new customers discovered their delicious homemade
food while it stayed open over the pandemic.
They are known for meaty hotpots – one part of their outside catering, now gathering momentum again. Alison Butler has run the popular sandwich shop for 20 years, co-owned by daughter Emily (both above). Using local ingredients, they sell tempting home-made food such as brownies, cupcakes and almond slices and make a daily special, fresh salad boxes and soup. A wide menu has hot and cold food, with sweet and savoury dishes including chilli, lasagne and buffets, for anything from family events to big functions and day-time weddings.
