No job is too small to have builder David’s full attention. “Even if it’s a repair lasting only an hour or two, I’m happy to do it. If I could fill my day with small jobs, I’d be delighted!” he says.
Cheerful David, 51, is a specialist in Indian stone driveways and patios, for which he is very competitive. He is also expert in repointing and offers a wall water-proofing service, with proofing’s guaranteed from 10 up to 30 years.
David attended Fulwood High School before qualifying as a bricklayer after a three and a half year course at Preston College, including an advanced year. He was an apprentice with construction giant Balfour Beatty, leaving in 1989 to work on house building and projects including a major refurbishment at Morecambe town hall.
David has worked on all aspects of masonry and groundwork and set out on his own 22 years ago. He specialises in brickwork and stonework, and does anything from home alterations to building garages and extensions. Work includes flagging, building repairs and hard landscaping.
His biggest claim to fame is an extension for Olympic cyclist Bradley Wiggins at Eccleston!
