There’s not much you can teach roofer Dean about roofing – he stayed busy all through the worst recession in living memory. He travels far afield to work for good contacts but prefers to stay around the Fulwood area, where he grew up.
Quietly-spoken Dean, 50, has been a roofer for 31 years, including 24 working for himself. A former pupil of Fulwood High School, he employs one roofer and his commercial work includes regular work on United Utilities properties. Customers include local builders such as Damian Lee Building Ltd and Parkinson Builders, for whom he does a lot of school work.
Dean also offers services to domestic householders and his skills include slating and tiling, flat felt roofs, roofing repair work, leadwork, pointing and guttering. He also installs Velux windows.
He aims to respond to emergencies as quickly as possible.
