Designer Josie Holmes takes pride in providing a quality kitchen, bathroom or bedroom at an
affordable price, and she won’t invoice you until she knows you are satisfied with everything.
“It’s not just about money for me, it’s about having happy, satisfied customers,” she says. “I work from home, but I have access to everything the big showrooms have – without their overheads or prices. I do have a small showroom for people to view samples, by appointment only.”
Josie has 35 years’ experience, working as a designer and manager for Magnet and similar businesses before setting up on her own over 20 years ago. With kitchens starting at around £3,500 and bathrooms at £500, mother-of-two Josie aims at middle-market customers. “We offer a friendly, one-to-one service and, as a family business, we like to offer people good deals.”
Josie visits to find what customers want for their kitchen, bathroom or bedroom, then creates a design with CAD software. She returns to show her design and, using samples and brochures, discusses options from doors (100+ choices) and door handles to baths and taps. “I then contact suppliers to get the best deals, arranging fitting using tradesmen I trust. I love my work, especially when the phone rings and people say thanks very much for your help.”
