“We go the extra mile, so that you can!” That belief sits at the heart of everything locally born podiatrist Emily Rhodes (left) and the team at Footprints do. Emily, 44, qualified over 20 years ago and opened Footprints on Kirkham’s high street in 2008.
Thanks to a growing reputation for expert care and a personal approach, the business quickly outgrew its original premises. In 2013, Footprints moved to its current, larger clinic, now home to five HCPC-registered podiatrists, a sports massage and rehabilitation therapist and a carefully selected range of podiatry- approved footwear from brands including Rieker, Caprice, FitFlop and Archies.
Alongside routine podiatry, they offer custom made orthotics, warm wax therapy, fungal nail advice and treatment, menopause and musculoskeletal assessments, as well as local home visits.
“We’re competitively priced but don’t compromise on the quality and standard of care we deliver,” explains Emily. “From the moment you walk through the door, you’re not just a patient – you’re part of the family.”
