Lee Kelly UPVC

Is it time to upgrade your conservatory?  Or to create a living space that adds value to your property?

Lee Kelly UPVC can make your dream living space a reality with all the latest innovative products from their room extension range.  Conservatories, extensions, lightweight solid roofs and single storey extensions are all on offer and if you’re looking for a firm that prides itself on no-pressure sales, high-quality installations and conscientious aftersales care, then look no further.

Owner Mark Lee said despite Covid the firm was enjoying one of its busiest periods ever in 14 years of trading.  Room extensions are increasingly popular.  “People like where they live but find they have not got quite enough space for comfortable living.  An extra room makes a big difference.”  A single storey extension can be built to four metres out, maybe more, without planning permission.  Options for room extensions or conservatory upgrades include high-performance glass roofs and lightweight tile or slate roofs with an option to incorporate glass panels giving more light.  Mark added: “Conservatories have evolved over the last two years and many customers don’t realise what can be done.”

Options exist to suit most budgets including a high-performance polycarbonate called Heatguard, which is far superior to old polycarbonate roofs.  Lee Kelly has put together a booklet explaining all the options available.  Mark said nowadays customers wanted to bring their garden view into their property, whether through bi-folding doors, which have been extremely popular, or big sliding patio doors with more glass and less frame – which are increasingly sought after.

Avoiding gimmicky offers and high pressure sales, Lee Kelly has built a successful business by providing good honest value-for-money.  They are as happy replacing a single glass unit as installing all the windows and doors in any property, large or small. Mark said customers – trade and domestic – were increasingly opting for flush sash windows in aluminium and uPVC – both types are on display in their Blackpool Road showroom. He added: “Flush sash windows have a slimmer profile and a more contemporary look. They’re completely flat and are equally attractive in a contemporary or traditional home.”

Other busy areas have been roofline installations – including fascias, soffits and gutters – and composite front doors are very popular, with a vast choice of styles and colours and the added bonus of being very secure.  Lee Kelly has industry expertise in depth.  Salesman Simon Worby used to run his own window-fitting business and, Mark says, “is an asset to the company with his product knowledge and excellent advice to customers.”  Mark himself ran an Ashton builders’ merchants for 16 years.  Lee Kelly’s 17 staff include Mark’s two sons, sister and wife, who are a massive asset to Lee Kelly’s success.  “Our fitting teams take great pride in being courteous, willing to oblige and leaving properties spotlessly clean,” adds Mark.

The Lee Kelly approach is to sell quality products at affordable prices, and to offer first-class customer service, before and after sales.  Quotes can be so low it makes people suspicious, but Mark stresses they sell only quality products.

A 10-year insurance-backed guarantee is given on all domestic installations.  Please phone for a free, no-obligation quotation or visit the extensive website.
