Delivering, moving and removing topsoil, stone, sand, building materials and much more – Lee Plaskett is a man you can trust. His grab, tipper and plant hire services are used daily across residential and commercial sites, from home renovations to construction – LNSP Limited has seen it all.
Lee, 33, is a family man – the proof is in his business name. The ‘L’ and ‘P’ may be self-explanatory but the ‘N’ and ‘S’, at the core of the title and his life, are: Noah, Neve, Niall and Sian, his three children and his wife. “Having my family with me on-site, even if just in an abbreviated form, motivates me to always do a job that they would be proud of,” explained the Preston-born owner.
Brought up in Lea, Lee Plaskett has never strayed far from home, attending Archbishop Temple High School, Fulwood. After finishing his studies, Lee gained 15 years of construction experience with companies such as A E Yates and Taybridge Construction, based in Bolton and Inskip. That background in the industry led to the launch of LNSP in April 2020. It was always Lee’s dream to ‘go it alone’ and that is when his first grab wagon was purchased.
Covid lockdowns strangely proved a positive. As the building industry continued normally, Lee gained contracts and jobs that saw his fledgling company thrive and emerge stronger – a second wagon and first employee are imminent. To contribute back into the local community, LNSP sponsored Lancon Juniors U14s, Hutton, for the 2022/23 season. “Lee has never turned up without a smile on his face. Completing all jobs promptly and exactly as expected,” says happy customer Gillian, of Lower Penwortham.
Lee adds “I can visit potential clients, chat on the phone, do whatever is best for them, at a time that suits them. It has been great getting to know people over the last couple of years and I hope to meet more of the community soon.”
