The hard work continues for lifelong friends and Managing Directors Gary Hull and Lee Bleasdale – joined by a fantastic team. The two scaffolders formed their own company in April 2011 and have grown it into a fleet of 18 vehicles and 35 staff. They’ve even bought a scaffolding boat for working over water on canal and river bridges!
Recently they moved from Longridge into a purpose-built yard at Barton with full-time office staff.
The firm has years of fixed contracts work lined up, but they’re always happy to carry out a core aspect of their work – erecting a scaffold for home-owners improving their property.
As well as commercial and industrial work, domestic clients still figure in a portfolio that includes new-build sites, schools, churches, mills, hospitals, care homes and more.
Longridge Scaffolding supply tube and fitting scaffolding for domestic, commercial, industrial and public sector clients. This scaffolding is adaptable and can fit round any type of building.
Gary, a former Paratrooper, said: “Our reputation for providing a good service with high standards continues to win us more work. We offer very competitive prices, particularly as we are focused on cost and value for money. We work hard and we are reliable and come when we say we will – no-one can start without us.”
They count many local builders as clients and have a high customer retention rate. They travel all over the North West and further afield when required.
Gary, 39, and Lee, 45, have 40 years’ combined experience. They have full public liability insurance and all the appropriate accreditations for large projects.
They welcome all enquiries by phone or email and testimonials can be supplied for their work and customer service.
