Plasterer Mark McHugh believes in a friendly, honest approach to his customers. And he promises they will get his full and undivided attention. “I charge a fair price and I don’t juggle jobs,” he says. “If I start it, I’m there until I finish, then I start my next job.”
Mark, 39, has domestic and commercial clients and puts customer satisfaction as his top priority. “Ensuring the customer is happy is what it’s all about,” says the ex-Longridge High School pupil. “I’m always looking for my name to be passed on to others, which is how most of my work comes.”
Mark will tackle any internal plastering – patching, and repairs, dry lining walls, skimming, full plastering and covering old Artex ceilings. He also offers tiling where he takes pride in precision, using a laser leveller to ensure perfect horizontal and vertical lines. He tiles kitchens, showers, bathrooms, floors and walls, in homes and commercial premises such as pubs and offices.
Mark is proud to have done an apprenticeship in plastering and tiling at Blackpool and the Fylde College, and has been self-employed for 20 years.
Clients include the Towneley Arms, Longridge, P Cowell & Sons and local builders including RH Slater, of Loud Bridge, Chipping.
