Friendly Martin Barron is a plumber with a difference.
For one thing, he met the Queen’s mother twice in a former career as a professional dancer, and for another he’s keen to do all those small jobs which many plumbers shun.
“I do anything from full bathroom installations to radiators, dripping taps, leaks and broken toilets,” says Martin, 60, who has 19 years in plumbing after retraining. “I care, I’m professional, I’m honest and I do a good job. I like things to be right and I’ve been in customer care as a leisure club manager so I believe in communication with customers.”
