Renewable Energy installer Michael Birchall is switched on when it comes to saving you money.
He’ll help you charge your car or your property with cheap electricity – and believes so much in his products that he uses them in his own home. Michael, who has 35 years’ experience, was born in Garstang, attending St Mary & St Michael’s Primary School, before completing a local apprenticeship.
He started his own electrical business in 2004 and MBE Energy a couple of years later. It covers two main areas:
- The first is solar power and battery storage, described by Michael as “a great investment for those who like to save money, as well as helping the environment – and you hugely reduce your carbon footprint.” MBE Energy is Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) accredited to install solar panels and also battery storage units, enabling you to use the power generated for your own home, instead of sending it back to the national grid.
- His second line of business is car charging points. His Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV) accreditation allows him to install several brands including: Pod Point, Rolec, Zappi and EO Units. Michael works in both households and businesses.
