At Start 2 Finish Property Developments, the name says exactly what you can expect. Founded by Luke Dean (above), the business has been built around one clear idea – making your home improvements as straightforward and stress-free as possible.

With 17 years in the trade and six years running Start 2 Finish, Luke brings a wealth of hands-on experience.
His journey began with an apprenticeship in joinery at R Walker & Sons from the age of 15, followed by four years working alongside his dad on heavy renovation projects.
He then spent another four years with BMI Plumbing, rounding out a skillset that now allows him to confidently manage projects from every angle.

Today, the focus is firmly on larger projects and full project management. Whether it’s an extension, refurbishment, kitchen, bathroom, fitted bedroom, or a loft or garage conversions.

Luke and his team can take care of everything. From organising plumbers and plasterers to coordinating each stage of the build, clients can simply provide the plans and let Start 2 Finish handle the rest. As Luke puts it, it’s about being a “one stop shop for all aspects of high quality building.”
Just as importantly, the service is built on strong values: being “clean, tidy, polite, punctual” and always aiming to “create solutions not problems” while working closely with the customer.
Alongside building work, the company also offers gas servicing, landlord certification and boiler installations, with full Gas Safe registration.

Born and raised in Preston and educated at Archbishop Temple High School, Luke remains proud to serve the local community. When Luke isn’t working he enjoys time with his wife and 2 children as well as mountain biking, playing football and cars.
