True-Line Upholstery

When Keith Astbury started his upholstery firm in 1976, he had a passion to deal honestly with people and offer top quality workmanship – hence the name he chose, True-Line.

That approach still holds good as he works with his wife Pat and daughter Carole to carry out the many aspects of their upholstery work. These include replacing cushion inners, repairs, springing and recovering antique, traditional and modern pieces. Keith, a member of The Association of Master Upholsterers and Soft Furnishers for 40 years, also renews boat, caravan, motorhome and vehicle interiors. Furniture such as bar seating units can be made bespoke to customers’ specifications.

Other True-Line services include loose covers, curtain tracks, blinds and curtains – made on a remarkable table nearly five metres long! Customers can choose from a wide range of fabrics and leathers or can supply their own.

Domestic and commercial work is undertaken on both a large and small scale. The family adds: “Our aim is to put the spring back into your life!”
