Trusted, local firm, Worralls Solicitors have built a reputation based on word of mouth recommendations and repeat custom – a testimony to their approach and skillset.
“We’ve been so busy, especially on the residential and private client side,” says solicitor Jackie Wolfenden.
The property team led by Jackie, a local resident herself, also includes Katie Bretherton with both experience in conveyancing and the firm having the recognised Law Society Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) accreditation.

Conveyancing is a key aspect of their work, with the team handling residential property – house sales and purchases, remortgages and transfers of ownership.
Amanda Hinks handles much of the private client work, an area of the practice developing and growing each and every year, including wills, probate, trusts, lasting power of attorney, equity release and court of protection work.
“We advise on issues arising from long-term care and illness and explain things to people several times if needs be. We ensure they are happy with and understand the procedure.”
Amanda does home and nursing home visits for clients unable to get out. She developed her expertise by completing the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners diploma – Jackie is already one of the few local solicitors with this qualification.
Worralls have close links with financial advisors, accountants and estate agents and support local organisations including churches, village halls and sports clubs.
“We regularly raise money for St. Catherine’s Hospice and are thrilled to do our part for this community and the wonderful people in it,” says Jackie.
