A friendly face and cheery chat goes nicely with any job. Ben Ainsworth doesn’t just take care of your trees – he can do so much more.
His wide range of services; includes log sales to your door. He now has an excavator for narrow access landscape work – it fits through a gate or door – a mobile chipper to clear woodland and a big mechanical tree spade to transplant trees of up to six inches trunk diameter.
Ben, 48, also does landscaping, excavating, paving, fencing, decking, low-maintenance gardening, turfing, artificial lawns, hedge maintenance and drainage. The ex-Hutton Grammar School boy has 31 years in forestry and landscaping, which began after chatting to a tree surgeon at a party. “I always loved the outdoors and worked at market gardens but he gave me work experience and encouraged me to enrol at Myerscough and gain a National Diploma in arboriculture,” he recalls.
Clients include councils, and major utility companies. James Maxwell, 51, recently joined Ben, bringing over 10 years’ more industry experience to the team. “We’re experienced, qualified and fully insured. We offer competitive prices and want the customer to be happy with a nice, tidy and aesthetically pleasing job,” he says. Versatile Ben also does tree surveys and mortgage reports for householders, estate agents, lenders and insurance companies.
