Whether you’re having your roof replaced, exterior painted or managing a major build, Steadfast Scaffolding Services is the name people trust across Lytham and its surrounding areas. Run by husband-and-wife team Liam and Lindsay, this Fleetwood-based business supplies scaffolding for domestic, commercial and industrial projects, and has built a reputation for being reliable, friendly, and committed to getting the job done right.
Launched in March 2022, the company was born after Liam’s early career in scaffolding, later expanding into rope access systems — a specialist method for reaching difficult areas safely. With both disciplines under his belt, he saw the need for a firm that was not only skilled but truly dependable. The couple took money from their mortgage to get started — and haven’t looked back since.
They now run a tight-knit team of six, including family members, with nearly 100 years of combined experience between them. Lindsay, originally from Thornton and a former Cardinal Allen student, manages first contact. She or Liam will personally spec each job — sometimes remotely using Google Maps — and they offer scaffold hire over an initial four-week period, with safety inspections and handover certificates as standard, with both their services and fleet being fully insured.
Their growing client base — from early relationships with Mark Young Roofing and Blackpool Industrial Roofing to more recent work with Myriad Contracts and S&B Electrical — is a loyal one, with many returning time and again. Jobs span from Glasgow to Heathrow, but their real focus lies in Lytham and the Fylde Coast.
The pair are also proud parents to two football-mad boys, aged 12 and 6. They love meeting people, developing relationships, and having a good bit of banter along the way. “There’s always a solution,” says Liam. “Even if it saves the customer money — we’ll always do what’s right.”
With a fleet of four vehicles wrapped by Divine Signs (also part of the Home Handbook family) and CHAS approved, Steadfast is growing fast — and sticking true to their name.
